I just ran across this issue while ridding my computer of a malware infection a couple of weeks ago. Now, I can't remember where in the system the deleted files are.
Can someone please enlighten me? I need to know urgently for my Church's computer.
Thank you in advance,

If you deleted them manually they should be in the recycle bin, if they're not then you must have cleared it too.
If you used a removal program then they should be in that program's 'vault' or 'backup'.
Why would you want them back?

I'm afraid that in trying to delete some games from the computer I may have inadvertently deleted files we use to print labels for our Sermon CDs! :-[
Our Minister of Music called and said the games are still on the system but the files containing the Label info are gone!
You see my dilemma...

Then hopefully they're in the recycle bin.

Sadly, no. I deleted the 2 "games" files from the recycle bin. One file was named
"Spyder.exe" I believe, and the other was "Solitaire applet". I also deleted the shortcuts to the games. Those are the only things I deleted. I don't understand how the Labels would have been deleted and the games still be on the system.
Any ideas how to locate the files? :-[
Pretty please? :'(

It doesn't sound like something you did caused the problem.
Do you remember any of the file names, if so try searching your computer for them.
Start>Search>Search for Files or Folders.
Has anyone else been playing with the computer?

That's possible...at this point I won't know until I get there in the morning. I did set an Administrator password to logon to our Ministry's Account, but 1-2 others use the same computer.
Once the computer is on, how can I set a password to keep people off of the internet account?
Thank you so much.

I have very limited knowledge on passords and multiple users because I use a non networked computer and I'm the only person with access.
Hang in there, someone will be able to answer your last question.
