Title: When I click on a link nothing happens in firefox

When I click on a link in Firefox nothing happens, and when I open a link in a new window sometimes a blank page appears with nothing on it at all. This happens every day, after the computer has been on for more than 6 hours. Restarting the computer usually helps to solve this problem, BUT who wants to have to restart their computer all of the time? I am having to do this more and more now and I don't know what is causing this issue. This only started a few days ago. Please help, anyone.

What type of internet connection do you have ? ?
What flavor of Windows are you running ? ?
