I am asking out of idle curiosity. When i looked in task manager i noticed RTHDCPL which i believe is a sound manager program using about 700 GDI objects & using 22,000 of memory. This is when i didn't have any sound playing. So why should there be a reading at all, especially a high amount of GdI. It seems odd that a program not in use is using more GDI than other programs that are in use.
The Pc is working OK, but i am curious. Any comment welcome.
