I found a program called C media mixed in the toolbar and my virus scanner seems to be concerned about. It only showed up today. Just want to know if it's not dangerous if you have it too.

What virus scanner do you have.....
I would recommend removing it ASAP from what you have told me all ready

Ignore the advice above...CMedia is a program for most computers with onboard sound.
Post back with more info on your system and we'll take a look...

Ok then i just belive if a virus scanner picks somthing up as a virus... it should be removed... But i would trust patio on this one.... ::)

It is for PC audio. One quick search on Google (http://www.google.ca) and you can find the drivers for it.
This is their website (http://www.cmedia.com.tw/) if you want to take a look.

You've still got a lot to learn. Until you know something for sure, you shouldn't be dishing out advice about it, especially when we don't have all of the details about the situation. Just because a scanner picks something up, that doesn't always mean it's a virus. It's called a false positive.
Like patio said, we need more info. Your OS, what protection you have, maybe a HijackThis (http://merijn.org/files/HijackThis.exe) log. We need more to work with.

Ok thanks I checked their site, seems fine. I'll scan the file with Zone Alarm to check.
