Title: Windows 98 Compaq quickrestore problem

After my original (yes, original) hard drive quit, I used the second drive I had installed and did a quick restore. After the restore, I installed the ethernet drive and it seems to be OK. Now I can't access the internet. One note, the OEM reminder pop-up comes on at every start-up and will not finish the auditing session when the button is pushed.

Did you check device manager to see if it is really "OK"?
