It's easy for me ;D All my programs are in the start Menu, which I find easier to access, and all of my files are in a VERY organized folder... That would be the Games FYI folder on the desktop.

Raptor:
"Library Books" is a misnomer. Probably should be "Tech Help". It opens a folder containing compiled help files from wherever I can grab them. These much overlooked files not only have great info, most times they have examples that can be cut and pasted into my existing code.
I also understand Microsoft has free software you can use to create your own.
After many years in IT, and still hunting and pecking on the keyboard, these files are a great timesaver.

I find them to be a great way to evaluate programming tools before actually downloading the entire application. Also this way there are no registry entries to deal with.
You probably have a great many CHM files on your own system, since Microsoft uses them as the source of it's Help and Support System.

I keep all my shortcuts in the quicklaunch. I have 30 of the most used apps down there for easy access and that's easier than a shortcut on the desktop since it's only one click to open.

Actually I'm happy to admit that my room and office is almost always pretty clean. Also I have heard of auto arrange ;) but the icons are arranged in projects. For example the group of icons in the bottom right are page modifications currently being done, center grouped icons are weekly projects (ie mail scripts and programs), left grouped icons are testing programs or recently ran programs.

I'm more concerned with how many files you actually have open! Even when I'm really trying to look productive I have maybe .25 that amount open. Kudos to you.

Clockwise reminds me of Microsoft Bob. I don't know if any of you dealt with this program, but WOW what a mess that program was. Below is a picture I quickly Googled for an example of what this program looked like for those of you not familiar with it.

Looks like an old point and click adventure game where you'd get stuck and then reinstall it over a few years just to find out that you needed to move the book onto the teacup and not into the teacup.

This is the Compaq DeskPro I am currently using. I could not find a suiting background.
I will soon post the Desktop of the other PC. It will most likely be empty due to my newly found and unsatisfiable urge for performance. Perhaps I will not even make a screenshot as it may defragment at least 200 bytes. I can not risk that.

I have these images in my head: Raptor, you look like the twin brother of Vanilla Ice. Fed is a dead ringer for Tommy Lee Jones, and pcdoc4christ is eerily reminiscent of the professor from Gilligan's Island. Merlin has me stumped, but I have this thought that he's probably kind of a cross between Tony Blair and Carrot Top.
Am I close on any of these?

yes, I did a flight on FS for the first time (a proper one) Edinbrugh to Amsterdam KLM Fokker 50.
And snaped that at general parking lol.
I though it was cool because the of the cones and the chick coming down the stairs, And the qualty is great too.
Well worth the £850 + £50 (more ram) for the pc i must say LOL

The Equipment comes up because of the plane i have dowloaded.
You can open the Door on any plane by pressing Shift-e.
in that plane when you put the parking break on and open the door that stuff comes up.
Plans for the next flight sim are going to have all that bult in as standard.

Thanks! However, I'm going to end this "merger" becuase number one, I had more hits with the old site before I closed it... lol Two, he treats my staff like crap... Three, in a merger both webmasters are supposed to be equals, but he doesn't think that, so I am basically just a part of staff... I'm going to leave it, and take some of his files with me, becuase I think he's done with the whole website thing...

I keep all my apps in the toolbar. It's more efficient than desktop and doesn't ruin a pretty wp.

Right click on your desktop (Not the icons) and untag the feature to display desktop icons.
God knows why you'd want to. You're a very unefficient person if you do so.

Give me some credit Raptor. When I say I don't have that option I mean I don't have that option. I got rid of it using TweakUI but I have to admit, the desktop is kinda creepy without it.

As you may be able to tell, I like the ME109 and ME262 very much. Germans had some wacky strategies and some terrible ideologies but they were superior engineers. I have a nice ME262 blueprint on the wall of my office too.

For the plane nuts...
I once had a picture of a jet plane in full flight as my background. Combined with this I had the sound of a jet as the Windows starting sound screaming from left to right across my screen. It was so cool at the time. :)

My Pommie neighbour bought me a Dr. Who mousepad on a recent trip to England, I scanned it, set it as background & added the Dr. Who theme music to it as well. More cool. :)

As much as I'd like to show off my wallpaper, it's slightly inappropriate. Well, not really, but it's a picture of my girlfriend that I know she wouldn't want me showing anybody (no, she's not naked). Nor do I want to show off such a picture.
However, I will post my old wallpaper 'cause it's one I've always loved...
(NOTE: I don't normally have so many icons. Since backing up my old computer, things have been a bit messy. I rearranged them so they don't block the picture too much.)
