I think a lot of us have been. ;)
But I guess for those who can't remember I'll add an option that allows them to still vote in the poll.

Well my family enter the computer era slightly later than some others, but my first ever computer game was "Starcraft" - which I blame for my continuing computer game addiction
-
from as far back i can remember i think the first game i ever played was excitebike! on the NES!
-
Yogi-Bear on the Sega Mega-Drive. :)
-
Wolfenstein 3D :D
-
I am amazed you guys can remember........
I would think the first computer games I've played are the Windows 95 games.
-
Mario Bros. My uncle bought me the NES when i was like, eight yrs old. (about 15yrs ago!) Almost makes me feel old. Almost. I can actually remember trying to hook it up to the T.V. and playing it. Good times. ;D
-
Oh yea, as for computer games, i'm pretty sure Jurassic Park for Win95 was my first. And i only say Win95 because it was like '94 or '95 when i played it.
-
The earliest game I can remember playing is Frogger. However, I don't know if that was actually my first.
-
Mines was probably an old Amstrad CPC game. Animal Vegetable Mineral, anyone?
Not sure if that was my first game, but I remember that game and a bunch of others for the amstrad which were awesome:
Batman, Harrier Attack, Bridge-It, Roland on the Ropes, some sort of Mummy game, being chased about tombs in the pyramids... and Time Man One.. ah they bring back some good memories :o)
-
I've been playing games since before the first Atari came out, that should give you some idea :P

First game on the PC..
I think it was the Original Quake for me.
-
Ahh man the original Quake what fun that was.
Was an avid Quake, II, and III player. Hate what Quake has become since then.
-
I voted for other, because my first gaming experience was Super Mario World on the SNES. Man, those good old times at my aunt's house... Yup, that's the place were I got addicted to a certain fat Italian plumber. ;D
-
I voted for none of the above.
The first game I ever played on the computer was StarCraft, my dad bought it when it first came out and then I would play it with him and we would constantly. It was the best times of my life because I got to spend alot of time with him but now I don't. I see him for 5 minutes every morning and about an hour every afternoon.
I still play StarCraft today, I mean It is a really cool game.

Skifree on Windows 3.1 for me, I remember it because we were one of the first families to have a computer back then, boy good times...

Was there ever a way to avoid him? I always remember getting so far into the game that he just pops up and eats you faster than you could possibly do anything.

Mine was pong.
It was on a grey coloured system, a bit like this one (http://www.pong-story.com/sd_other.htm).
-
Pac man was my 1st but i like mario better
and the very old version of ShadowRun is also my favorite
-
My first game was Pong some...30 years ago? Wow. Played a lot of Pac Man on those table top things that used to be in bars back then too. Starting to feel pretty old.
-
First ever? Dr. Mario, it was some pretty instense pvp
-
I'm not sure, but i think its Mario ::)
And i'm familiar with all those listed game.
Nintendo, the first ever console i had.
-
I don't have any memories of the first game I played, but the first one I owned was Super Mario World on the SNES. I had that game so long that the battery died. Wouldn't keep my saves unless I played it (or at least put it in the console and turned it on) at least once every three days.
Now that I have it as a ROM, however, I can apply IPS patches and play all new versions of the game! ahhhh youth revisited.
-
The first game I ever played was The Legend of Zelda a link to the past on the snes
-
first game i played was pokemon silver ever since my mom found it on the store ive been addicted ever since
-
My first game was Atomic Bomberman, used to play it with my dad on same keyboard ^^
-
I can't remember. The first games I vividly remembering playing were on the N64 but I know I'd played games at a cousins house. First games for the N64 were Mario 64, and Wave Race, which was a game about Jet ski racing? Great fun.
-
minesweeper :-\
-
Radio Shack had a very basic game of "PING PONG"...........it was black and white and yes used the TV........it was the very 1st game i had ever electronically played !
Then of course........ATARI and "Pac Man".
-
Frogger on Intellivision on Christmas Day 1980. Played it for about 4 hours and game system overheated and instead of getting another Intellivision we got an Atari 2600 instead, and so my 2nd game ever played is Space Invaders.
-
Cool poll! minesweeper it was for me ;D
-
Pokemon Yellow. My parents never got me a console, and a freind gave me his gameboy for a day.
