I just acquired Windows 2000 Professional to fix my system. I put the disc in and follwed the instructions. Now when I try to get on the internet with it, it says my DNS server is unreachable or unavailable. I contacted Embarq and they informed me I was missing my drivers. Can anyone please help me fix this so that my husband can have his laptop back and I can have my PC back on-line. Thank you in advance ;D

Go to Device Manager, and see, if there are any errors there.

You could also DLoad and run Everest Home (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html) and post the computer summary info here so we know what hardware we're talking about in that machine.
Save the report to a /txt file and copy and paste the summary...

I went to device manager and it has other options which have my ethernet and all in it, with ?'s beside it. I called Linksys to see if they could help fix it but they were no help at all. I am at my wits end lol

Use patio's link, and post computer summary back here.
