i want to upgrade my desktop because when i am using multiple program, my computer slows down, and i want to upgrade my computer. my computer specs are intel celeron D (2.66GHz), 512MB RAM, winXP Pro, and 80GB HDD. what specs do i need to have and not that expensive?
-
the cheapest and most effective upgrade would be to upgrade your RAM to at least 1gb.
-
More info would be helpful. Can you give an example where you're running multiple programs and you experience your system slowing down? In other words, what applications do you regularly use where you would like better performance?
What the video specs on your system? What motherboard do you have? Do you know what processors it supports?

1 gig?is that enough to speed up my computer's performance?
-
Yes, but how about a response to my questions?
