My computer was working perfectly fine. I was moving and put my computer in storage for 1 month. After getting it out of storage I hooked it all up and went to push the power button and nothing what so ever happens. No green light turns on. Basically, it's as if my computer is not pluged in (and yes it is)...lol. I tried switching the power cord but that was not the problem. Someone had told me to try the reset button that didn't do anything either. I don't know much about computers, just the basics. I do not know what to do to fix this situation.... someone please give me tips on what I may be able to try and do.

Could be a few things....I would start with checking the power supply. Some come with a switch on the back to shut them off.....next I would replace it.

I have tried the switch on the back but it didn't do anything.... got any other suggestions???

Open the case and do some housekeeping...a can of compressed air is good for this.
DO NOT use a vacuum.
Use a QTip to hold the fans in place when blasting them to avoid damaging them.
When done carefullu remove and re-seat the vid-card, RAM and any other addon cards.
The gold contacts can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.
When everything is re-seated replace the CMOS battery...about the size of a dime located on the MBoard...part # CR 2032 available even at Wally World.
For now leave the case side off and power up. See if any fans are not turning and listen for beeps.
If you get nothing then borrow a known working PSU of the same or greater wattage and swap it in there to see if that is the culprit...if so buy a new one.
Do yourself a favor and don't grab a 20 dollar special.
