I changed my hard drive last night to a larger unit, now my monitor has a heavy blue tint. I can see everything but it's all BLUE. I tried a system restore point to before I changed the HD (I cloned the new HD from the old one then removed the old one) but it's still blue. I'm thinking it's a setting or driver or something. I tried updating the drivers from the monitor install disk but it said I had the most current one. Also tried different resolution settings. The monitor is an HP vs19e LCD. It was working fine before I changed the hard drive.

Try reinstalling your display drivers...not the monitor drivers, but your graphics card.
-
I tried reloading the drivers for the video card, no luck with that. Still have a very blueish screen.
-
Look in your monitor manual, how to access default settings.
-
Tried the factory reset from the menu......still blue. I'm stumped, maybe the video card went bad????
-
make sure that the connector is all of the way on.

Uninstall old drivers, first.

*censored*, I can't believe I missed that. Thanks! Hooked the connectors back up too quickly after changing the HD cuz I wanted to see if it worked. The connector on the back of the puter was loose.
