Title: Control panel nothing in it

I have windows Vista , and when i try to open up the control panel nothing is in there... there was like a day ago but i think i went to Temp files and maybe deleted something that wasn't supposed to be deleted.

Can anyone help me out?

and now it just flashes and nothing pops up in it.

Boot to your Vista CD and choose the Repair Windows option. Follow this guide from bleepingcomputer http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html and see if that takes care of it for you.

Deleting temp files will never cause anything like that. Try System Restore.

oh ok thanks guys i'll do that right now maybe it was a virus can i did i clicked delete files that had it ? but i dont think of that either
