i cannot open my bank's secure web site using firefox or ie7. last week everything was fine but bank upgraded their security and now i cant login.

Ask your bank what they did to upgrade security and what steps you need to take in order to visit the upgraded site.
Alternately if the bank is no help, tell us more about what happens when you try to log in. Any error messages? How far in the login procedure do you get?

with ie 7 after i enter username and pw and try to login i get back inetrnet explorer cannot display the webpage. using firefox it comes back with:the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading
