Title: Web Pages not showing up

When i try to access websites the page pulls up cannot display page on every website i goes to can someone help?

candace......Are you certain you are in fact connected to the Internet ? Are you able to receive E mail ?
What operating system are you using .....?
When did this start ?

Yes i'm connected to the internet. Yes i'm able to receive email...windows xp...this been going on for like a month.

candace......what about using your system restore to restore back to before the problem began.....
start /all programs /accessories/system tools/system restore
let us know how you make out ..

I tried to do that but there it no restore points on earlier dates. I have a recovery cd that came with my computer but when i use it it want let me open the files on it.

put check mark in "show friendly urls" in browsing  under
advance tab in internet options under tools.follow this correctly
