Title: presario restore/installing drivers

Hi -
I am another new computer illiterate, desperately hoping for help. I'm not sure what my mom needed to hide, but she would only give me her computer after she did a system restore. When I attempted to re-install the drivers (copies of originals) the first 6 went fine, and I am unable to continue after that. It is a Compaq Presario.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. She gave this to me out of sympathy, my very old -faithful-till-recently dell died a slow death, i now have nothing.

can u xplain more , what error messages are u getting? wat do u mean by "copying"??
