Like number of you, I started with DOS, but my first Windows version was 3.1.

Nice one, Willy  ;)

I used Win 3.1 at work, but stayed with DOS on my home computer, by my choice, until I gave into the dark side of Win 95.   ;)

First OS I technically used was DOS, since you need to into DOS to get to Windows on my old computer..

The second OS I technically used was Windows 3.11 (notice, two 1's) for Workgroups.

So, I voted Windows 3.1

(Windows 3.1 is just Windows, 3.11 is for Workgroups with domain join and advanced networking)

Why did we have the Workgroup version? I have no idea.. I think it came from Dairygold (used to live on a farm)

3.1 I think. I have used even earlier versions since (1.01, 2.03, 2.1, 3.0).

BTW, you missed out version 2.1

Windows 98.

I've got 3 computers running it here. Two of them I hardly use.

Windows 95, back in '96.
Then 98, then XP, on the family PC.
Since then, I have used 95/98 again, Vista, 2000, 2003, and NT4.

I think so.      ...I better clarify that response.

Ccleaner v.1.35.424 is installed here.

It loads and looks to me like it is running ok.   Just played with it.   Analyze and Scan.   Didn't follow through with "Fix Selected issues"  or "Run Cleaner"

I suppose I lean towards the 'don't fix it if it ain't broke'  with this,  as I don't  run it regularly.

I do see a .reg file,  in a sub-dir that is named such that it looks like I had Ccleaner make a registry back up at one time.
Would that indicate that I did run it sometime then?.... as making a reg backup doesn't seem to be part of Analyze or Scan,  I'm thinking it must be part of a cleaning run.

I have to say that I started with windows v 1.8 the dos/gem desktop. Very nice for the back then standards I have to say. I still have the old computer. The company, I don't know if it still exists or not but it was called Amstrad.

Thats what I started of with,

Beer is an acquired taste...I have to tease Z and suggest you stop trying to inhale the beer, and drink some.   ;)  It's no big deal -- I can probably count on both hands the servings of beer I have in a year...

Your search - CCleaner version 1.024.1397 - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
Try different keywords.
Try more general keywords.
Try fewer keywords.
Try to use a different window.
Try patio's idea.
