Post by: Silencer_RPMs on April 11, 2008, 08:00:29 PM
So I have an extra power supply laying around. I was wondering if I could use this power supply

At 380 watts output, it should be fine for a lower-end processor and video card...
what kinds of components do you plan to install?

I think that should be just fine, especially if you're not gonna load it down
with a bunch of peripherals.

an 8500GT graphics card will run with only 300 W power supply.

Or you can just get a more basic card if you are not into the gaming graphics that you'd want a good FPS for even at lowest resolutions.
