Title: Sound Problem

I get sound on WMVs, but no windows (XP) sounds and no sound on YouTube or similar sites. The sound indicator on the task bar is for Turtle Beach Riviera Mixer. I dont have the usual volume control there. I'm thinking that I may not have something connected properly on the motherboard.
