Title: WPC54G is inactive. How can i activate it?

Im not sure why this card is inactive. I need to activate it somehow. Does anyone know how i can do this? Thanks - JT
P.S. Im on a Dell Laptop with Windows XP SP2 The Card is a Linksys WPC54G

I'm assuming when you say card your referring to a PCI card that slides in to the laptop.  Do you have the correct drivers installed for it?  Look at the device manager to see if you have any red x's or yellow !'s.  If you do then update or reinstall the drivers.  Sometimes it also helps to uninstall the hardware and then do it from scratch.  If all that fails, I'd say you have a dead card.
