Title: Sims Help
Post by: -kPa- on July 01, 2008, 10:39:02 AM
Hii,

I've just bought The Sims Complete Collection and when I installed it, it went to the Neighbourhood screen and doesn't load past this. The blue loading boxes for each expansion pack keep loading over and over again. I left it for an hour and it was still doing it. I've sinse then re-installed the games but again it doesn't go past the blue loading box.

Please help

Can you try running the original game (without the expansion pack) and see if it works or not.

Is this Sims 2?

ok....assuming that you are running vista what you have got to do is to right click the simms icon on your desktop and select properties....then select the compatability tab and put a tick in the box that says run as an administrator. click apply and then try again...I think you will find that it will work from now on.. the UAC will ask for permission every time you go onto the game but hey....what price security.
