Title: Joining Linux server to Windows Server 2008
Post by: Golden Unix on July 08, 2008, 03:50:08 PM
Have had Windows Server 2003 as the domain server with most clients connecting to a citrix server to access shared applications.  Have one Linux server that hosts accounting software ... the accounting software is launched from a shortcut on the desktop of the citrix server.  The properties of the shortcut identify the IP address of the Linux server.

Problem is a new Windows Server 2008 has been brought online as the new domain server and it cannot find the Linux server unless the 2003 server is up and running.  Not sure where to configure this.  DNS entry?
