anyway this is what happend i went to open a game it was called WolfTeam it loaded but did not pop up. so i restarted the pc and after that i started getting BSOD (blue screen of death). i went and disabled the auto restart after system error and got this msg after restarting with another bsod it said Win32k.sys so i googled it and from what i have read it says ram problem. so now i figured 1 more reboot wouldnt hurt it rebooted and got to the login screen but the resolution was all messed up i seen lots of diff colors and everything was BIG. so at that point i decided to take out a stick of ram i have 4 gigs of ram btw after taking out 1 stick it loaded good and let me login normal but then i got another bsod.. after that i read to take out the battery that is on the mobo to reset the memory or what have u after that when i turn on the pc the lights come on the hardrive kicks on everything works but now i cant get any video to the monitor.. i cant get into my pc to tell u all the specs but ill try to name off some.
nvidea 8600 gt
4 gigs of ram corshair
gigabyte mobo
320 gig hard drive seagate
2 dual core intel processor
500 wat power supply
windows xp pro
ps. and another thing i went into bios and i may have disabled the video card witch i dont know how i did.

In fooling around in the BIOS any number of variables could have changed here.
Remove all power sources.
Remove the CMOS battery for 10 minutes.
Turn on and off your power switch a few times with the above removed to discharge any resident charge.
Replace the battery connect everything and re-boot.
Did you say that you have 2 processors in that machine ? ?
When posting specs it's helpful to include model #'s...

I have done what u say so while i wait for the 10 mins i will post the correct details that i found in the manuals.
1. Core 2 Duo Processor E6550, LGA775 Pkg 2.33 GHz 4MB L2 Cache, 1333 MHz FSB.
2. S-series Ultra Durable Motherboard 965P-DS3/S3.
3. Corsair XMS2 xtreme performance DDR2 memory CM2X1024-6400C4 x 4 at 1024MB.
4. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320 Gbytes 6QF24AQZ.
5. The power supply is 500 watts all i can tell u on that.
PS. I remember what i did in BIOS to search for any abnormal settings then i seen optimize and saved after doing that i had turned the comp back on i got a promt screen saying recovering hardrive after a few seconds the load bar would stop and the comp would keep restarting and going back to the same prompt trying to recover hard drive. After all that i had taken out the mobo battery and now everything comes up but i cant get any video to the monitor. Trying to be more specific sorry. I might be wrong but i took optimize as factory setting i may have been wrong though. Now off to see if ur method worked Thnx again
PSS. I have done what u told me to and now i have the video to the monitor that is working again ty so much... and the problem now is when i turn the pc on i guess me hitting optimize it has done something to it. When i turned it on it says Scamming Bios Image in Hard Drive - Bios - Auto Recovering and it will load until a certain point and restart over and over again. Thnx again.

It means a crybaby screwed up his PC and got antsy because nobody saved his *censored* instantly. I think the best thing to do is to refund his joining fee.

crybaby dude ur an comp technician and this is how u reply to people that need help? my post has been here for a good week and noone replied the only one that did was patio. ok now patio if u cannot comprihend what i exactly ment in the last post then just lol @ u. dias no im not a crybaby i waited patiently this site is called computerhope u know? and for u to call me out by crying then lol to u as well. looks like i turned to the wrong place for help.. nothing but useless people that wanna insult people for not knowing as much as they do about computers. 1 more thing nowhere did i instult or talk down to anyone in my last post. so plz reframe from the name calling.... :-\

This is an all Volunteer Help Forum...
Everyone here who contributes does so in their free time.
On top of that they all have real lives, real jobs and other more pressing issues to tend to day to day then to assist someone who is having trouble with their machine that has decided to cop an attitude and bad mouth the very people trying to assist.
You can talk down about us all you want if it makes you feel better but i would suggest taking the above into consideration and re-adjusting your attitude.
