My right speaker has this static sort of noise that comes out of it whenever I listen to music or play any other types of audio. I purchased some new speakers today and the right one still has that same problem. It'll distort the sound coming from the right so I have to keep my sound controls all on the left speaker til I can get this fixed.
I've tried moving the cords around and unplugging and re-plugging the speakers in but it does no good.
Does anyone know why this may occur or how to fix it?
Thanks!

Well, I did that and it still has the static.

I'd try another pair of speakers to eliminate some possibilities.

Well you see, I had this problem before with my old speakers and I thought "Well, maybe they're just dying" so I bought these new speakers today and I have the same exact problem with the right one so it is a bit odd.

In that case, I'd suspect speakers' jack on the back of your computer. They do go bad.
You may consider real sound card. If you don't need anything fancy, they're cheap.
