Title: Internet graphics are "stretched"
Post by: Gonz! on August 07, 2008, 12:06:58 AM
Hi,
I'm working in my Dell Latitude D820, and have an NVIDIA QUADRO NVS 110 installed.  It gives me overall great performance, but when it comes to web browsing, picturen on the internet always come our skewed or as if you stretched them.  As if the display was supposed to be for a normal screen, but you widened it to fit a widescreen.  If I save an image from the internet and then open it with any other program, it comes out OK, it's only as I view images online.
what can I do about this?

I have WinXP Professional, Service Pack 2 version 2002.
The Browser is Internet Explorer 7 version 7.0.5730.11
cipher strength 128-bit (whatever that means)

Someone told me that I had to install something, like a driver or a codec or something for it to work properly, but I didn't have my computer with me at the time, so I didn't do it, and then I kinda forgot what he had told me... (shame on me, but I just don't understand the language sometimes...)

Download, and install Firefox as cross reference, and see, if same thing happens.
