Good morning,
I am using an aging Packard Bell 4610 Legend, Pentium, Mhz 120/72RAM, running Win95a with IE 5.01, SP#2.
Someone told me I might be able to download and use WMP 7.1 on my system even though it wasn't supported by Microsoft.
I went to this site:
http://www.pppr.sk/rainbow/wmp71w95.html
and followed the directions but couldn't pull it off. When I went to execute the batch file after unpacking the zip files I got a message saying I was trying to install something that was not supported on my systam. :-[
Just curious if anyone else has had any success in putting 7.1 on Win95. ???
Thanks and regards,

Hi merlin,
Thanks for suggestion. Just tried that site and when I tried to install the setup program the message about trying to install it on an unsupported operating system came up and wouldn't let me go any further.
I appreciate your help. Guess I will stick with WMP 6.4.
