Title: What are these markings on my word document?

Hey all,

I have these markings on my word document that I can't get rid of.

They are in all four corners of the page, and look like this ...

I can't for the life of me work out how to get rid of them.

I have them too. (I think everyone has them).

They are there to help you identify the margin.

Go to Tools
Then options
Under Print and Web Layout
take the tick out of the box for "Text Boundries"

they aren't printed, so it can't possibly be that annoying...

Read my link.  It may be the reason he can't get rid of them.
