i have a problem with my PC it restarts and it isn't a software problem because i changed my windows xp from Sp1 to Sp2 and my hdd and it gave me the same problem i think its a motherboard problem my board is as rock

system specs

and what happens when you reboot...what is the error?

any new hardware added lately?

well it is windows Xp professional Sp1 on amd athlon board asrock k7s41 with on board cards and sd ram 256 mb anything else u want to know?

oh yes i didn't say that he had that problen 6 months after i bought it and i have 2 years that i have bought it and first he did very rarely but now he does it every 30 or 40 minutes i don't know what to do.

You'll need more than 256M of RAM to run XP properly...
