Title: character problem

Hey, for some reason i all of a sudden have this problem where none of my character buttons work properly. its like they have some kind of secondary function or something thats turned on and i dont know how to turn it off. for example when i try to type a question mark it makes one of these: É does anyone know how i can fix this

What program is this in?  Or is this happening anywhere on your computre?  ie: is it just in something like microsoft word, or anywhere u type (notepad, internet explorer, etc.)

yeah its like that and its in every program, do u know how i can switch it back to the regular layout

Go Start>Control Panel
Double click on Regional and Language Settings
Click Keyboard and Languages tab.
Click Change keyboards button.
Select your country from drop-down menu:
