Well, you need a firewall (check Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=free+firewall&aq=f&oq=)) and Java (http://www.filehippo.com/download_java_runtime), but I don't see anything wrong.  Have you scanned with anti-virus?  And what exactly is the problem?  All you said is that your internet freezes...we need many more details.

that is my only problem. my internet explorer 6. keeps freezing on tons of sights.  i have mozilla and it works perfectly.

Okay, well, first of all, you should download and scan with SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, as described on this page:

While you're at it, download ComboFix (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) and save it to your desktop.  Run the program and read its disclaimer (it's fairly short) and make sure you really pay attention to what it says.  Follow the prompts and when finished, it will produce a log at C:\ComboFix.txt.  Go ahead and post that here.  Note: Don't click on the window while it's running; this may cause stalls.



Post the three logs and we'll see what we can find.
