Maybe visit the unattended install section...
What apps are you including in this build ? ?

I want to include things like FireFox, launchy etc. but i don't even know if Vlite will let me do that.

Unattended install is what you want...but be patient for a response to your Post...

No Problem...wish i was better versed in both nLite and vLite.
I've successfully used both but only for slipstreaming...my experiments with including apps went horribly awry.
I can send you the DVD's if you want to screw up a drive/partition if you like...

lol no it's ok i borrowed my friends DVD, ripped it to my HDD. So i can mess the image up as many times as i like. I've already slipstreamed SP1 and stripped out about 1.4GB of bloatware on the install. and got it to boot/install unattended on my virtual PC. it's just the installing of 3rd party software and some more advanced tweaks i needed help with but XML files seem to be the answer.
btw my current windows file, which came preloaded from OEM is 12GB, the stripped down version is 4GB. I can't wait to get to grips with the answer files and really see what can be achieved!
