Title: Recover RAID 0 Laptop Harddrive
Post by: Jack33 on November 11, 2008, 01:48:59 AM
My old laptop's motherboard died, probably as a result of overheating.  The harddrive is RAID 0; two drives stacked on top of each other.  I've had some friends look at it, and they recommended a 2.5" PATA/IDE enclosure kit.  I found this one at tigerdirect - Sabrent 2.5" USB 2.0 to IDE/PATA Aluminum Hard Drive Enclosure.  Will I still be able to recover the data one drive at a time, even though it is RAID 0?  I also looked into IDE cable adaptors, but again, the IDE cable adaptors I've found only connect to one harddrive at a time.  Thank your for any help you can give me.
