Best downloader that can download any type of streaming video? exept real player?

I am using real player for downloading all type of streaming video

But i can not resume the paused downloads whenever I restarts the system.

Could you suggest best downloader as per the above requirements?

If you want to rip videos off Youtube and such, I recommend this Firefox Addon:

Try OrbitDownloader. Its really good for downloading videos from sites. It has a grab++ option, which catches videos on sites, and you can download them.
