Title: Computer fails to turn on, need system hardware
Post by: Teh Freda on December 24, 2008, 05:59:31 PM
Hi guys  I am new to the forums and I don't know much about computers but they are interesting.

I think my computer got a really deadly virus as when I try turning it on, it just goes automatically to system options. However no drivers show up and it tells me to click on load drivers for my hard disks. I'm using vista and I don't know where to click on as system32 comes up with many other files in it. I have researched a bit and I think it is a corrupted  file but I still don't know anything. I went next without loading a driver, I tried to click full restore, systemrestore etc but it won't let me. I repaired it but it still won't work. I just don't know what driver my hard disks runs on and how can I fix this? >:(

Thanks.

It's ok, I found out it's not a virus and that many people also have this problem where a system gets swiped. It happens because some Vista comps have a stupid cd player or something which completely owns a file. Something like that but now I have to get it fixed by a technician :(
