i encountered problems in my desktop. i want to change my bios setup but my keyboard doesnt work during bootup the but after bootup and enter windows... the keyboard was already working. what the problem with it? please help me. thnx
specs:
ECS Motherboard
windows XP SP3
Celeron D processor
1.4GB RAM
80GB HDD

If it's a USB keyboard this is common as it's waiting for the drivers to load...
Borrow or buy a PS2 keyboard.
Everyone should have one...

yup... i already used other keyboard but it doesnt work.

what shape is the keyboard plug? rectangular or circular?

Did you try another keyboard?
He may very well have a USB adapter on it which would explain the dilemna...

i got the solution regarding this. i remove the CMOS battery and return it after a few seconds then the bios was appered. thanks for all your help guys. :) it really appreciated.
