The first one is what is wrong and the second is my system info. I'm not very tech savvy so links and directions would be extremely nice.

When you bought your computer it should have came with a drivers disk. You need to run that.
If you dint have the disk, then your computer manufacturers website should have the drivers available for download.
Did you just install windows?
If not, did you make any changes to the computer's hardware or software prior to the driver problem?
-
I never had problems before, but then a friend wiped the computer. I'm not sure what happened... I know that my sound doesn't work now though.
-
When a machine is wiped so are all the drivers...you will continue to have issues until you locate that MBoard Driver CD that shipped with the machine...
All your drivers will be on it.

and if you don't have the mother board driver disk then download this
Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit (Version 7.2x)

all your drivers should be here:
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=P5GZ-MX
select your OS...xp I assumed...start with chipset drivers first..then video, audio..etc.
after installing them and removing all your yellow ? under device manager make sure you do a windows update...
Good Luck

Thank you so much for that! Now I have two yellow ?'s labeled PCI device and Unknown device. How do I fix those?
-
Anxiously awaiting some further help rather than make a new posting. I too have the yellow question marks for
PCI Serial Port
Unknown Device
I have tried absolutely everything to resolve this but without success. Its a real challenge finding the answer so any help is greatly appreciated.
-
Those drivers are part of the MBoard/chipset drivers...re-install again and re-boot.
-
also- vidal, unless your using the exact same computer, you will need different drivers.
-
Try everest! Maybe you can find more info about the unknown device an identify it. link here: http://www.lavalys.com/
after you found more info about the device do a Google search with the word driver download (But never download driver from a entrust source...try to find a good webs site)
