Title: ms publisher problem - publisher does not have enough memory to embed objects

i cannot get around this problem with any publisher file i open any help would be appreciated  regards ross

windows xp - ms publisher 2000 - about 1.7 gig space left o hard drive - 1gig  ram

1.7G out of how much total ? ?
That's about enough free space for a 10G HDD running Windows...
