Title: Erratic cursor
Post by: Mosaic on January 24, 2009, 08:50:08 PM
I have a Dell laptop running on Windows XP. A week ago I started to notice erratic cursor behavior using the touch pad. It started to worsen so I began using a Logitech mouse, which seemed to help. This made me think that it could be dirt/grim under the touch pad. Today I was typing in Word and in emails and my cursor started to go wild, jumping all over the place, and now I can barely type anything. Also, using the Logitech mouse is nearly as bad as the touch pad. Any ideas if this is a virus and how it can be fixed? --Thanks.

I just finished running all those programs and have attached the three logs. I didn't notice any difference in my cursor. Could you please look at them and advise? Thanks.
