My computer locks up for no reason. I mean lock up, it will not do anything. I've tried several things, like...

virus
ad-ware
spy-ware- scaned for all of these

updated video card drivers

put in a case fan

deleted things that I thought might case it


I need help, I'm at the end of my rope!

Reformat and do a fresh install of windows.

sorry, been busy. i'm using windows xp, home edition with SP2
