Title: DVD's playing quarter size
Post by: chris_drake on February 06, 2009, 12:17:58 AM
Hi there,

Whenever I play a DVD, either a local file or from a DVD, they play at 1/4 the normal size in Windows Media Player, and don't even display in Power DVD.  It does play correcly in VLC however.  I've used the newest and older versions of Power DVD and WMP, and updates my drivers etc, and have installed plenty of codecs.  Any ideas?  Not keen on using VLC because it crashes part way through all the time....

My bad, I just read my post.  What I really mean is the entire media player is displayed, but the DVD is displayed only in the top left corner ( 1/4 ).  If I resize it, the quarter video just gets resized, it's always 1/4 of the media player.  It also flashes a bit, kinda like it's got a strobe light over it....

I'm at work, but I'll try and organise a print screen when I get home...
