I am running windows vista 32-bit
I was working on my PC late last night, and when i was done - i shut it down. Never had a PC problem with it up to this point aside from the occasional hiccup it would get when trying to boot up (sometimes it'd randomly freeze on boot up)
Well, now.....when i started it back up this morning - there was a huge problem.
It cycles through the hardware information like normal, and gets to the dell screen that shows a loading bar, and 1/2 through - it emits a very loud, long, and non-stop beeping noise from the machine its self (think the bios beep, but repeating its self forever) and the PC won't boot.
My PC does not have an A: drive, so i used my laptop to create a boot CD
But i can't get the PC to boot from CD
I can't get it to enter boot options or setup
I have no idea where to go next to continue finding out whats wrong with it.
Any ideas?

Open the case. Re-seat RAM, and video card (if any).
If that doesn't help, and you have more than 1 RAM stick, try starting the computer with one stick at a time.

well - i got home after work today - turned it on and it fired right up.
So once i was in - i quickly updated my BIOS and the drivers for my chipset (along with a few other non-urgent ones)
I ran checkdisk and defragged the HD
all seems to be fine now :|
Very strange
