Title: Windows Media Player unknown error

When I go to burn in windows media player I get the following;-
"Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encouters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to the Player".
Runing XP professional and it is the only os on the computer. Any ideas how to overcome this.
