Title: What computer care programs do you use?

even after seeing all the issues with them and the various write-ups comdemning them- you all buy these bloody programs like Tuneup utilities and Advanced System Care and System mechanic.

Sometimes I wonder if we're talking to a brick wall.

CCleaner and chkdsk are enough for me.

Well I use everything except for any of the AV's because my company demands that we use Symantec ::)

On my desktop at home and my wife's laptop we use what is in the link and Avast.

Post by: patio on April 26, 2009, 08:17:53 AM: I agree....the errors in pic 2 it is reporting wants it to compromise your security level on top of being false readings....if the report was in fact valid you would have no internet connection right now.

i understand that they are for windows but when a check says error you think twice thats why i never take out things unless i'm sure or advised , harry
