Title: Windows wont boot up and reinstallation does not work.
Post by: nine tailed fox on April 20, 2009, 01:47:14 PM
Hello there...

my problem is that i have a boot corruption error, i cannot boot windows in any form, i tried to boot from a vista cd that came with it but nothing, the upgrade option on the vista installation cd has been disabled.....i can only do a custom installation, when do that it restarts and is like the process did not start at all since it runs from the beginning again, i have already formated both my drives and i want to install the clean version of windows, however i get various errors like "windows setup could not reinitiate the deployment engine. To install Windows restart the installation.".... now do i have to buy a new operation system or can i do it from the cd i already owned in some other way.
"reinstallation dvd, windows vista home premium 32BIT"

Dell Inspiron 531, vista home premium.

thx in advance for any help.

BTW harddrive is partitioned from the previews installation.
