kindly help me know the basic procedures of
adding or connecting a printer to a
LAN
-
Does you printer have an Ethernet Port on the back of it?
If it doesn't then buy a Printer Server that has support for either Parallel or USB(which ever your printer connects by)
-
Can't the LAN access the printer even if it's plugged into a computer?
-
Yes this is possible, you have to first of course install the printer then goto your Network Connections in Control Panel and add the File & Printer Sharing service after you click properties on the network connection.
