Title: Hiding a partition in Vista
Post by: boo on April 25, 2009, 07:39:10 PM
I'm running Vista Ultimate 64-bit

I made an 11GB partition on my Windows HDD (RAM X 2.5 + 0.5GB(see left))

Is there some way that i can hide this partition in Explorer as it's just annoying having it there as there is nothing that i can "see" in it.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/2978040/How-to-hide-partitiondrive-in-Windows

Works ok in XP, not tried in Vista.

And a lot more here (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=windows+vista+hide+partition&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=windows+vista+hide+partition&fp=_rpp-4zAm3I) including Regedits.

Good luck

Oh, does your 11gb partition contain system files?  If so then it can't be hidden.
