Title: XP Home will not reconizse a 500 GB hard drive

Someone has installed XP Home on a 500 GB hard drive, in My Computer is show as "C" drive yet in disk management it does not show up. My motherboard is a Elitegroup 661FX-M7. The hard drive does work ok but I needed to reibnstall XP and it tells there is no partition,  therefor it will not reinstall. My question how did XP get installed in the first place if there is no partition, and how do I overcome this situation?

What happened is the partition proubley got deleted. So what you have to do is when you go to install XP you have to go in and create a new partition.
