Title: Password for Owner xp

My wife died and I can't figure out her password.
I burned a cd to recover the password but it wouldn't boot.  I tried playing around the BIOS but couldn't figure out how to get it to boot from the CD.  When I tried something, it didn't work but I was able to get back to the defaults.

Help!

OK, I still can't get the eMachine to boot from the cd.  I burned the image for "Orphcrack" (sp??) but when I press F1 during start up and get in the BIOS and go to the Boot Menu and the Boot Sequence I'm lost.  It doesn't say plainly boot from cd. Attached is a picture of what I see.

It says a device enclosed in brackets is disabled in the corresponding type menu, but they are all three in brackets.

Any suggestions short of hauling it in to BestBuy?

Sorry mate, but we cannot assist with retrieving or bypassing the Windows password.
