My vista has been working fine until yesterday there was an update that installed my computer auto installed it and restarted after this it seemed to work ok. When I tried to boot computer up now it goes past the bios page then blue screen shows for 2 secs and restarts. I have tried a repair and did not work I tried to go into safe mode but it also has the same blue screen I have recovery switched off so cant use this either! any ideas to how to get this solved I am able to slave the drive and access it this way?

Do you have your installer disk? You can do a repair of Vista from there.
-
I have tried a repair
What kind of repair was it?
What does BSOD say?
-
The bscreen just flashes on the screen then restarts and goes in a loop I have seen this happen on Dell GX755 when going from windows xp sp2 to sp3. A repair fixes this though. When I try running the repair it says it cant. Is there another way to repair with vista? Is there a way I can get the error message when I have the hard drive slaved up?

I think Automatic Restart is enabled on your machine. May we know what kind of repair have you done with it? Is it a repair installation?
