Title: Access is denied; Owner folder after re-install of OS

Sirs and ladies:

I'm running XP Home Edition on an aging HP xt948 desktop with 1 gig. of RAM and a 80 gig. harddrive. After re-installing the OS, I cannot access my former Owner's folder. I used a downloaded install of NTBACKUP. The main difficulty is the lack of security tabs on properties folders. Any suggestions are welcome.
