Title: IE error message continously appears?
Post by: texasgolds on July 05, 2009, 05:00:47 PM
I continously get the following error message while using IE-7:  "Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plug-ins to run?   Y or N"

Is there a way to eliminate this message from continously poping up?

Yes, click Tools, Internet Options.

Then click Advanced, then scroll down and check the two boxes next to "Allow active content to run...."

Then click Ok and off you go!

Why? Some ActiveX are needed to see the web page correctly.

That's the only thing I can think of.

Is there no "Don't ask me again" box you can tick?
